At Cozumel Windseekers, the chatbot is still a solid flesh-and-blood human being, whom we affectionately refer to as Carlos. So feel free to express your doubts; we will answer.

We also have an email address at your disposal. Unlike the telephone contact that is under the attention of a single person, our email account has a team always ready to answer you.

There is nothing like getting in direct contact, which will make you feel more comfortable, especially before the "Pay Now" moment. We know that in some way, it will make you feel better to know that there is a person aware of your needs.

We will be in communication through any of these contact methods to refine any details of your visit. If you have any special requests after you close your reservation, contact us, and we will do our best to have it ready for you.

There is a wide variety of menu options that we can prepare in coordination with restaurants on the island. The guys on our staff are indeed incredible cooks, however, some restaurants on the island offer excellent opportunities to expand our customers' options.

This also applies to our "Top Shelf" bar. For example, onboard we offer Don Julio tequila considered one of the best tequilas in Mexico. However, it is increasingly common to see Dobel tequila among our customers' special requests.

If you have any wine, beer, or tequila of your choice, let us know, and we can coordinate to have it on board.

The payment process.

Finally, when your doubts have been cleared up, and you took the excellent –I have to say– decision of booking your experience with us.

You're probably wondering about what the consequences of canceling your reservation might be.


FULL REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN for cancellations made at least 24 hours in advance.

Suppose you need to cancel your reservation for any reason. In that case, the reservation will be fully refunded if you cancel it at least 24 hours before the scheduled arrival time.

We offer multiple payment methods for your ease, from wire transfers, credit cards, cash, and even cryptocurrencies.

Cryptocurrencies are something new that we have to get used to. Still, they are becoming more common in the world. We want to make sure that our staff is familiar with the new trends and offer you that hassle-free experience that we are looking to provide you.

No worries, we make it as easy as we can for you.

Follow-up: In contact from day one

We will be aware of any Whatsapp, email, or phone calls. You can contact us at any time.

But most importantly, one day before the arrival, we will send you the check-in documentation. We will also ensure that you have all the necessary information to get to where our boys will be waiting for you.

Also, if you have a pending deposit, we will make sure that you have the conditions to do so. Sometimes, we set sail as soon as people board the Catamaran due to schedule and organization. Therefore, it is better to clarify all the documentation, payments, and any other matter before the scheduled day.

And it is not precisely that we are in a hurry to set sail. This is planned for your benefit, and let me give you an example.

We have many customers who visit us from Playa del Carmen, which means that to get to Cozumel, they had to take a ferry. (Passenger Ferry crosses from the mainland to Cozumel at specific times.)

You are beginning to get an idea of what I meant.

Suppose you have a specific time to board a cruise ship or the passenger ferry that will take you back to the Riviera Maya.

In that case, we want to be sure that you will thoroughly enjoy your experience. It will be sad to lose 30 or 40 valuable minutes at the dock because the bank, in a strange move, decided not to accept a charge made from Mexico.

Transportation to "Marina FONATUR".

Some people get anxious about security issues in Mexico. Cozumel is a tourist island that has become popular with millions of dollars from travelers yearly. Tourists generally know beforehand that the whole island is committed to their safety.

Take a taxi; drivers are friendly, usually locals who know the island very well.

Here the question is, where is the Catamaran Sophia?

(NOTE: All the information you need will be sent with the documentation when confirming your reservation. We will keep in constant communication, so you know what to do at all times. This blog post merely gives you an idea of the steps to follow when you book with us.)

Our Catamaran Sophia is moored in the "Marina Fonatur," the taxi driver will know precisely how to get there.

Now, if you rent a car, it is crucial that you do not get confused because there are two entrances at the marina. To make it easier, I will leave you a map here.

Upon your arrival at Marina FONATUR.

Upon your arrival, our staff will be waiting for you. Immediately as you get out of the taxi, you will see two smiling faces, most likely David and Shelley.

David and Shelley will be on board with you on the Catamaran. Feel free to give them your handbag, backpack, stroller, or any heavy item you bring. They will use a wheelbarrow to get everything directly to the Catamaran.

We will take care of everything; we are not planning to ruin a wonderful day because of a lost bag.

On the Catamaran, you will meet our dear Captains Gerry and Pedro. Pedro is also in charge of our Ground Operations; he will make sure that we set sail without any setbacks.

Before boarding the Catamaran, the staff will ask you to take off your shoes.

The shoes will be kept in a bag onboard the Catamaran at all times. We invite you to remove your shoes because the material of the catamaran deck is slippery with some shoe soles.

Believe me; you will have a much better grip walking barefoot in Sophia.

Onboard the Catamaran, we will welcome you with fruit and mimosas. The fruit may vary depending on the time of service; for example, for Sunset Sailing, we usually have snacks, vegetables, and a Charcuterie Board. Although the specific product may vary, in general, we will be waiting for you with a drink and a snack.
